In February of 2009, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Peak Vista Community Health Centers introduced Colorado’s first Ronald Care Mobile. This environmentally friendly ‘green’, 40 ft., state-of-the-art mobile clinic provides both medical and dental care to underserved children living in the Pikes Peak region.

The Care Mobile’s mission: To provide exceptional healthcare to children and their families by reducing community-wide geographic access barriers.

Especially in the economic times we are all facing, families may feel that they have to choose between feeding their families and getting the necessary medical and/or dental care that their children need. The RM Care Mobile lifts this burden and provides a level of comfort in knowing that required medical/dental care is taken care of…including referrals for behavioral health services.

Counties that can expect to see the Care Mobile are: El Paso, Teller, Douglas, Park, and Elbert.
