Last year, between $2,000-$3,000 was raised for the Ronald McDonald House through the collection of pop tabs. The pop tabs are easier for us to store, they take up less space and are cleaner. We also receive more for the tab than for the can because it is higher-grade aluminum. All the money we receive from this fundraiser goes directly to our Southern Colorado Ronald McDonald House. It helps to pay for the families of seriously ill children to assist in their stay at the House.

Elementary, Middle and High Schools from many districts compete to collect the most pop tabs. Additionally, churches, service groups, businesses and individuals collect for the Ronald McDonald House throughout Colorado, AND the United States! We receive pop tabs in the mail from Hawaii, Florida, Alaska and many states in between! Others send checks with pictures of pop tabs that were collected in their school, group, or town for the Ronald McDonald House.

For those of you involved in the program, we cannot thank each of you enough for your ongoing efforts to collect the pop tabs to help raise money--------please keep it going!! If you are not involved I am challenging you get involved yourself or through your place of employment or a group or organization that your involved with on a regular basis. Please contact Susan, the Volunteer Coordinator at the House to learn how you can join the pop tab program!

Pop Tab Collection Boxes shaped like a House are available in two sizes, small and large.  Please feel free to stop by or call to pick up your House to begin your collection.
